Dear fellow American, baby below was killed by Israelis whom we support with our tax dollars and political influence. The grieving father standing over his dead child may be helpless, but his anger is no lesser than yours would be if God forbid that was your child; by supporting the terrorist state of Israel we are inviting retaliation.

The Israeli army anounced a new offensive strategy Friday as it punished the Palestinians again with a further raid into the Gaza Strip, flattening buildings and levelling fields, after two of its soldiers were wounded by a grenade.

Israeli army spokesman General Ron Kitrey told AFP that the army would mount its raids "systematically" after each Palestinian attack.

"There is now a new tactic which means reacting systematically and punctually to every terrorist attack, including those from the Palestinian autonomous zones if need be," he warned.

"It is up to the commanders on the ground to decide the best way to hit those who carry out terrorist operations or who are about to carry them out."

But Kitry stressed it was a "limited operation" and "we have no intention of taking possession of such-and-such a hill or sectors that have become autonomous."

The latest incursion, lasting three hours and penetrating 700 metres (yards) into a Palestinian-controlled area at Deir el-Balah in the southern Gaza Strip, came a day after an Israeli missile strike on Gaza City in the wake of the killing of two Romanian migrants working for the Israeli government.

Palestinian sources said one Palestinian was wounded in an exchange of fire between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian police, while Israeli bulldozers also levelled nearby fields to deny the Palestinians positions for ambushes.

Security officials said the army also barred all Palestinian traffic on the main highways linking the north and the south of the Gaza Strip, effectively cutting the enclave in two.

Another parallel road, reserved for Palestinian police, was also closed late Wednesday, the officials said. It had only been reopened at the end of April, after being closed for more than four months.

Israeli public radio also said Friday two mortar bombs were fired from the Gaza Strip at the southern Israeli kibbutzes of Nir Am and Nahal Oz, but there were neither casualties nor damage.
