     RE: Misappropriation of CNN Content; Demand for Retraction
     
     Dear Sir or Madam:  
     
     I am writing to you on behalf of my client, CNN Interactive, a 
     division of Cable News Network LP, LLLP ("CNN") and owner and operator 
     of the Internet site located at http://cnn.com.  It has come to our 
     attention that you have reproduced copyrighted CNN material on your 
     "Compuserb" Internet site at http://compuserb.com/ustroops.htm, 
     without the permission of CNN, in violation of CNN's rights in and to 
     the CNN content, and in violation of applicable laws.  
     
     In addition, by placing the news content of CNN on a political 
     advocacy/opinion site, you have severely misrepresented the neutral 
     position of CNN as a news organization, to the detriment of CNN.  You 
     also have falsely suggested thereby that CNN sponsors, endorses or 
     otherwise is associated with your site and the Compuserb 
     organization. Such conduct also violates applicable laws and the 
     rights of CNN.  
     
     Based on the foregoing, we hereby demand that you immediately cease 
     use of any and all CNN content, including but not limited to text, 
     photos, headlines, trademarks and tradenames.  
     
     Moreover, it is our understanding that your site states that "CNN, and 
     in particular Christiane Amanpour, manipulated the news with an 
     anti-Serb bias which contributed to the suffering and deaths of tens of

     thousands of innocent Serbian men, women and children."  Such 
     statements are defamatory of CNN and its reporters and correspondents, 
     and violate applicable laws and the rights of CNN and its reporters.  
     Based on the foregoing, we hereby demand retraction of this and any 
     similar statement regarding CNN, its reporters or correspondents and 
     any CNN reporting.  
     
     Please note that CNN considers all the foregoing matters extremely 
     serious, and will take firm and more formal action to preserve its 
     rights if necessary.  CNN hereby demands immediate written 
     confirmation from you that you will comply with all demands in this 
     message, and further demands that you supply CNN with a URL at which 
     your retraction statement(s) can be viewed.  Failure to do so will 
     force CNN to take action.  
     
     CNN hereby reserves all rights and remedies that may be available to 
     it, whether in law or in equity.  Nothing in this message, or CNN's 
     statements or actions, or failure to act, in connection herewith, 
     shall be deemed a waiver of any right or remedy that may be available 
     to CNN.
